Ensinger-Hyde Distribution Division Announced

Ensinger Industries, Inc. announced the formation of Ensinger-Hyde, the distribution division of Ensinger, Inc. This division will produce the company’s line of engineering plastic stock shapes out of facilities in Washington, PA, Grenloch, NJ, and Placentia, CA. The division marks the final stages of the integration between Ensinger, Inc., headquartered in Washington, PA, and the former A. L. Hyde group, which was acquired in February 2001.

In conjunction with the formation of Ensinger-Hyde, Ensinger, Inc., has made several structural changes within the stock shapes division. Primary among these is the formation of regional business units and the appointment of managers to oversee them. "We had to look at each facility to determine how to best meet the needs of our customers while improving overall production and service to the customer," said Lawrence G. Resavage, Vice President and General Manager of Distribution. "We came to the conclusion that establishing business unit managers who have an intimate knowledge of their respective territories was the ideal way to meet the demands of all our customers, both existing and new."

The regional business units are broken down geographically, with Bruce Dickinson heading the Eastern Business Unit from Grenloch, Ken Pitchok heading the Central Business Unit from Washington, and Martin Wood heading the Western Business Unit from Placentia. In addition, Market Development Managers Fran Alder and Dave Mildenstein will be increasing Ensinger’s presence in new and existing markets in medical/pharmaceutical, food processing, semiconductor and high-tech industries.

Other internal personnel changes include Ken Pitchok being appointed E-commerce Manager. This brings their e-commerce site, www.shopforplastics.com, under direct control of the stock shape sales department.
