Plastomer Technologies, formally Goodrich Polymer Products, introduced their new business identity, Plastomer Technologies and encompassing operating product groups. Plastomer Technologies is a leading manufacturer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) specialty products and services and has operations throughout the United States. It is an entity of EnPro Industries, Inc. (the former Engineered Industrial Products business of Goodrich Corporation) and began operating as a fully independent company effective June 3, 2002.

Plastomer Technologies' focus is on the manufacturing and creation of state-of-the-art PTFE products offering exceptional performance, as well as customized solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. Their distinctive product groups include Plastomer Products (PTFE tapes, films and fiber), Porter Process (fluoropolymer etching and surface modification), Texolon (basic PTFE shapes, machined PTFE parts, injection molded plastics and perfluoroelastomers) and Reprolon (reprocessed PTFE resin, specialty compounds and additives).

Since the late 1960's, Plastomer Technologies has been a leader in the innovation of PTFE processing for such applications as wire and cable assemblies, fluid sealing devices, semiconductor manufacturing, chemical processing, oil and gas exploration and various consumer related needs.
