Vortex Facility Expansion

Vortex Tool Company recently completed an expansion of its Schofield, Wisconsin manufacturing facilities. The larger plant facility creates the increased capacity to allow Vortex to begin manufacturing and direct-selling polycrystalline diamond-tipped tools to its’ woodworking customers. In addition, new employee locker rooms, office space, a maintenance department and an overhead bridge crane have been added to the facility. According to Vortex Vice President Mike Serwa, the company added 20,000 square feet onto the existing 10,000 square foot plant essentially tripling their manufacturing and operating space. Two new employees have been hired with more staff being added in the near future.
