Calsak Corporation signs as newest distributor of Melt-
Processible Elastomers™.
Advanced Polymer Alloys boosted its West Coast distributor
presence by announcing that Calsak Corporation,
Gardena, California, joined the company’s growing roster
of full-service distributors of APA Melt-Processible
Elastomers™ (MPE). APA is a division
of Ferro Corporation and the world’s
leading supplier of MPEs.
Calsak will distribute APA’s entire
product line, including Alcryn® Melt-
Processible Rubber™ (MPR) and
DuraGrip® TPE, throughout the western
United States, with centralized
sales offices in Los Angeles, Seattle
and Houston. The deal provides Calsak
a first-time opportunity to directly distribute
a thermoplastic elastomer
material. They currently distribute
commodity and engineered rigid thermoplastics,
as well as color concentrates
for the injection molding and
extrusion industry.
