Increased Capacity
Over the years, the management at Futurplast
Extrusions has been dedicated to meeting the
changing needs and purchasing patterns of the
plastics industry’s distributors.
Futurplast continues to invest heavily in both
product development and product availability. In
recent months, Futurplast has increased production
capacity by 50% at its state-of-the-art facility.
Through production efficiencies and with its
increased buying power, Futurplast has steadfastly
fought to keep prices stable for distributor customers
and have actually achieved price reductions
on many products.
Futurplast is presently building inventory in
lighting grade white acrylic tubes with 3/16”
and 1/4” walls in sizes ranging from 5” OD up to
12” OD.
In early September, Futurplast will introduce
acrylic and polycarbonate tubing in 14” and 16”
OD’s. This will be another industry first in long line
of innovations.
In addition, CEO Eliot Sorella announced that
Futurplast will begin to extrude a full line of PVC tubing
which will be stocked and distributed from its various
distribution centers.
New Distribution Center
Futurplast also announces the opening of their
8th U.S. distribution center in Columbus, Ohio.
Orders will begin shipping from this location as of
August 1, 2006.
