Spiratex Acquires R. F. Kelly

The Spiratex Company announced they have acquired R.F. Kelly & Company. This acquisition compliments their existing business by increasing their manufacturing capacity to over 130 extrusion lines.

In addition to custom parts, Spiratex offers a full line of standard products in UHMW-PE, Urethane, HDPE, Nylon, ABS, PVC and all other plastics. They continue to offer the engineering and design assistance that has distinguished them as a leading custom extrusion company.

The Spiratex Company has been in business for over 50 years and was one of the first manufacturers to extrude UHMW-PE. They have refined their proprietary processes over the years to create an extruded product using both ram and screw extruding machines. With the addition of R.F. Kelly’s proprietary ram process, Spiratex now has the unique capability of four different processes that will suit different needs; giving them an advantage not previously seen in the plastic extrusion industry.
