WELD-ON Gains ISO 9001:2008 Certification

IPS Corporation’s WELD-ON® structural adhesives have been given ISO 9001:2008 certification for its manufacturing sites, development laboratories and business practices by DQS, Inc. management solutions, Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

The ISO 9000 family of standards represents a consensus on good management practices with the aim of ensuring that an organization can continually deliver the product or services that meet the client’s quality requirements. In order to be certified, companies must implement a quality management system embracing all company’s activities, including: staff training, customer interaction, meeting customer requirements, product design and development, purchasing materials and services, and delivering products and services.

IPS offers an extensive line of WELD-ON structural adhesives and assembly adhesive for bonding thermoset composites, thermoplastics, gelcoats plus a variety of metals. In addition, IPS produces a full-line of WELD-ON solvent, acrylic and urethane based adhesives for bonding a variety of plastic substrates, such as acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, PVC and vinyl.
