glazing,

polycarbonate
sheet is as clear as
glass and many
times stronger. It is
also many times stronger than acrylic sheet, offering a margin
of safety that no other clear glazing material can equal. To
meet the challenge of prolonged exposure to sun and weather,
Sheffield’s MAKROLON SL offers the impact protection of
MAKROLON and the UV resistance of acrylic. MAKROLON
AR combines high impact strength with superior abrasion
and chemical resistance and MAKROLON HYGARD laminate
is a high performing security glazing material that offers
proven resistance to physical and ballistic attack.
