Thermwood Corporation announced that Logan
Heeke has joined as a Demonstration Technician. Heeke
will be overseeing CNC solutions for customers that range over a wide variety of applications.
Thermwood also announced the promotion of Patrick
Dauby to Manager of Demonstrations and Software
Sales.
Finally, Thermwood announced the promotion of Joe
Harger to the position of LSAM Applications Manager
where he will be responsible for the coordination of their
Large Scale Additive Manufacturing (LSAM) demonstrations.
Norplex-Micarta announced that Dan Krammen and Deanna Roffman have accepted new roles. Krammen moves to the position of Manufacturing Engineering and New Process Manager and Roffman is being promoted
to QA Manager.
Interplastic Corporation announced that Tim Watts has joined the sales team as a Sales Representative, covering
Florida and South Georgia.
Kevin Henderson
has been appointed
to the position of
Application
Engineer for Biesse
at the company’s
North American
headquarters in
Charlotte, N.C.
Henderson brings
35 years of machine
shop experience in
the aerospace,
defense and automotive
industries to
his role at Biesse.
In Memoriam
Alice A. Martin, Vice Chairman and Chief Revenue
Officer for Nibco Inc., passed away in early December
2017, in Elkhart, Indiana. She worked closely with her
husband, Rex Martin, NIBCO Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer, as a strategic advisor for more
than 30 years.

board," said Rex
Martin. Alice’s
vision, creativity
and strength made
an indelible impact
on the business and
its customers.
Among her most
notable contributions
to the business
was her passion
for mentoring many NIBCO associates. Alice had
implemented several colleague development programs,
including the Women's Leadership Group, helping women
from all NIBCO locations achieve career success. She also
established the NIBCO Sales Training program, involving
an intensive recruitment, training and sales shadowing
curriculum.
