EXPANDING CUSTOM PLASTIC FABRICATION
Aurora Technologies is a one stop shop for plastic fabrication from acrylic thermoplastics and UHMW PE-to Micarta Industrial Laminates. ATI serves a wide range of business and they feel they are positioned to lead custom plastic fabricating into the future. Their resources along with the most technologically advanced equipment allow them to meet exacting specifications. The company continually takes on jobs other companies turn down and do whatever is necessary to provide their customers with a high level of service. Material control techniques such as Kanban, Just-In-Time and Time Release Blankets are offered and with a large inventory on hand unusual deadlines can be met. Founded in 1988 by Tom White, the plant started with 11,000 square feet. Today, they have completed an expansion giving a total of 90,000. Additionally, they have added a facility in South Carolina. Currently ATI owns and operates all CNC state of the art equipment, which includes 48" x 96" milling, drilling, routing and multiple tool changing machinery as well as turning centers and milling centers with 72" x 96" vacuum forming capabilities, thermoforming and line bending equipment. They maintain a large inventory of thermoset and thermoplastics and one of the most popular materials offered by ATI is Micarta Industrial Laminate from International Paper.
