EUROPEAN CERTIFIED PLASTIC WELDER
Drader Injectiweld, Inc. introduced its first CE certified welder in 1997, which allows the Drader Injectiweld plastic welder to be marketed and sold in Europe and abroad. This has been one of the company's most significant steps in putting its name on the global market and sold through a world wide group of distributors.
The process uses heat from the welding tip to preplasticize the welding surface of the thermoplastic. Molten plastic is immediately injected into the weld area to fuse the plastic together to produce a high quality sound weld. No hot air or gas is used to preheat the plastic, therefore, virtually eliminating the chance of oxidation during the welding process.
A high degree of operator skill is not required as the Injectiweld is an easy to use, one hand operated plastic welder. The system is also portable as it only requires 110V and minimum 90 PSI compressed air. They can supply an assortment of welding tips to achieve the best weld for any situation.
The welder is ideal for fabricating, prototyping and repairing thermoplastics, especially polyethylenes and polypropylenes, polystyrene and ABS. Drader Injectiweld, Inc. stocks an assortment of welding rod, and also manufactures custom colored rod to match welding rod colors with their particular project.
