NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY
Sustaplast Engineered Plastics has announced that their new manufacturing facility, specializing in the production of nylons, acetals and other high performance engineered plastics, is on-line. The company is part of Sustaplast & Co. of Germany. Mark Bogin, Vice President, explains, "Our new facility allows us to concentrate on the development and production of the materials that we know best...and the ability to tap into our parent company's resources for R & D, special profiles, nylon custom castings, machined parts, injection moldings and full assemblies." They are available in a wide variety of off-the-shelf grades in sheets, rods, plates, tubes and tubular bars. Special grades are available upon request. Sheet sizes up to 48" x 144" are available in thickness ranges from 0.020 to 6", depending on processing method. Also, the materials are available in solid rods from 0.25 to 24" in diameter; and cast nylon tube is available from 3.75 to 63 " OD.
