INTERNET SERVICES FOR DISTRIBUTORS
The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) and Arthur Andersen Knowledge Enterprises (AAKE) have entered into an innovative strategic partnership to offer wholesaler-distributors a suite of Internet-delivered services designed to provide them with significant marketplace competitive advantage.
The service -- scheduled to go live by early Fall -- will use Arthur Andersen KnowledgeSpace as a powerful gateway to on-line information, business tools and resources. The KnowledgeSpace Wholesale Distribution Community will offer on-line users many of the diagnostic tools and insights from the Distribution Research and Education Foundation (DREF)/Arthur Andersen Center for Best Practices and Andersen's Global Best PracticesSM knowledge base. In addition, the website will offer content from Andersen's wholesale distribution practice, including the widely acclaimed "Future Trends" studies, which Andersen develops for NAW's DREF. KnowledgeSpace is planning to provide subscribers with access to industry-customized training courses, wholesale distribution-focused presentations and forums, customized business news, and information related to electronic commerce.
