SUPERMARKET POINT-OF-SALE OPTION
Eastman Chemical Company's Eastar® PETG copolyester is being marketed as a versatile supermarket point-of-sale material by the British plastics manufacturer, K2, who extrudes the T-sections for use in supermarket refrigerated displays.
Ken Day, partner, K2, says: "There have been quite a range of T-sections available to the market for some time. They're conventionally used in display units to separate products."
Using PETG copolyester creates a host of advantages, scratches can be easily removed with a hot air gun, you can bend a length 360 degrees and literally see it spring back into shape, produces no fumes when burnt, is FDA-approved and is an inert and nontoxic product.
