COLD DIP DYEING - ACRYLIC - VINYL
Cold dip dyeing is the simple coloring method for thermoplastic parts (acrylic, vinyl, acetate, etc.) according to an announcement by Schwartz Chemical Company.
The process is being used for parts such as lamp parts, artificial flowers, carvings, acrylic earrings, display components, advertising specialties, handles, toys and novelties, etc. The dyes being used are identified as Rez-N-Dye Cold Dip Dyes.
Parts are immersed in the dye. The longer the parts are immersed, the deeper the color becomes. Rinsing the parts in cold water stops the dyeing action and completes the process.
