ADVANCED PERFORMANCE PIPE
Using a unique resin system, new CYONYX® pipe offers excellent impact resistance. Its toughness and durability make it ideal for high traffic areas. The pipe has broad application in chemical service such as sodium hypochlorite, 52 percent hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, halogens like chlorine and bromine, and many others. Using new technology, the pipe is centrifugally cast using thermosetting resin, has the performance capabilities to challenge exotic alloys and stainless steel systems. It is only 1/5 the weight of comparable Schedule 40 stainless steel. The pipe is easily field fabricated, and the bonded system results in less fugitive emissions than from most flanged joints. It is currently available in 2-inch through 6-inch diameters and is rated for temperatures to 225°F and pressures to 150 psig for standard products.
