DISTRIBUTOR ACQUIRES MULTI-BRANCH OPERATION
Ryan Herco Products Corporation has entered a Definitive Agreement to acquire the assets of Plastic Piping Systems (PPS) from its parent company, G. O. Carlson, Inc. Ryan Herco is a privately held distributor of fluid handling products for clean and corrosive applications. The company had 17 locations, primarily in the western U.S., prior to this acquisition. PPS has eight branches in the eastern U.S., which solidify Ryan Herco's position as a national distributor of products for fluid flow. Frank Gibbs, President of Ryan Herco, stated "We look forward with great excitement to having PPS become a part of Ryan Herco. PPS is well respected in our industry and has a long and proud history as the largest independent distributor of industrial plastic pipe, valves, and fittings east of the Mississippi River. We plan to enhance the existing product offering and provide additional services to this very important customer base."
