QUICK CHANGE TOOLING LINE
A quick change, one-hand toolholding system for use with multiple spindle drill heads and machines is available from RMT Technology. The innovative, patented system, designated SDH for stub drill holding, eliminates ASA spindles, collet chucks and other toolholding systems. The advantages, in addition to being quick change, include shorter overall length, closer centers, more rigidity, high thrust capabilities and elimination of drill bushings. These provide a high degree of repeatability while reducing setup costs.
