VERTICAL SIDE TABLES FOR CNC ROUTERS
Performing edge work on a CNC router has always been difficult. It normally requires expensive horizontal routing and boring heads. Thermwood has introduced an option for its moving table CNC routers that makes edge work simple and easy. The option consists of vertical tables mounted to the right and left sides of the main horizontal table. When a part is mounted to these vertical tables, it presents its edge facing straight up so that the normal vertical heads can perform almost any edge work required. This offers a simple elegant and low cost answer to machining the edge of a part. The vertical side tables are an option on their moving table machines and can be retrofitted to existing moving table machines.
