HEAT STAKING
Sonitek Corporation has introduced a new heat system for plastics which adds expanded capabilities to the thermal joining product line. The MP500 has a microprocessor controller with a lockable digital keypad that ensures reliable, repeatable heat staking, and thermal insertion of metal into plastic. The company's products stake plastics, insert metal into plastics, de-gate and thermally date code and the company makes tooling for thermal systems, horns, boosters, and fixtures for ultrasonic systems.
