BEARING GRADE COMPOSITES
Tri-Star Plastics introduced the new Ultracomp family of bearing grade composites, providing compressive strength up to 54,400 PSI. They are self-lubricating and low friction and are able to handle high impact and vibratory loading. Several grades are available in sheet, tubing and custom-machined components. Ultracomp bearings are currently used in railroad appliances, off-road equipment, timber-handling equipment, cranes, grapplers, pulp and paper handling equipment.
