ONLINE ACCESS TO MATERIALS INFORMATION
IDES has announced its new web site, www.idesinc.com, that provides free on-line access to its cache of plastic manufacturer's material data sheets. The database consists of virtually all resins produced in North America and is continuously expanding to include polymers produced in the European and Pacific Rim regions as well. Plastics professionals and others will be able to search over 31,000 material datasheets using trade names, grades, and manufacturer information. Once users have found a datasheet they will have the ability to print the information and follow a supplier link to learn more about material purchasing options.
