CLOSE TOLERANCE SAW
MetlSaw Systems is a manufacturer of close tolerance, precision cutting circular cold saws. The saws delivery machine-like cut finishes that drastically reduce and/or eliminate the need for subsequent machining of cut parts. Their 12' x 14' plate saw is used by most metal service centers for cutting aluminum plate. Many of these service centers are also using their MetlSaws to cut plastics to close tolerance. They plan to manufacture a 10' x 10' plate saw designed exclusively for cutting plastics. This saw will cut to tolerances of +/-.005 with finishes to 8 micro-inch. This saw will be fully automated using Allen Bradley controls. Materials can be stacked up to the 4 inch thickness capacity.
