UHMW FILM AND TAPE
Penn Fibre and Specialty Co., Inc. offers Pennite(r) UHMW - thin gauge film and tape products. These new materials are available in standard thicknesses - from .003" to .031" and "custom" slit widths - from .250" to 24" (+) wide. UHMW film is also available with pressure sensitive adhesive backing - slit to customer specifications. Black and Conductive tape and film materials are available upon special quotation. Pennite(r) UHMW film and tape provides an excellent low friction, non-stick surface - combined with high tensile strength, toughness and abrasion resistance. UHMW tapes and film are used in a wide range of mechanical applications - including chute liners, wear pads and guide rails and many o.e.m. applications - such as glide surfaces and computer "mouses" (mice?). The company manufactures thin gauge nylon, acetal, polyolefin, engineering thermoplastics and specialty plastics sheets, strips and coils and is a major supplier of thermoplastics and thermoset washers and punched parts.
