INCREASED SPEED OF CNC ROUTER LINE
Thermwood Corporation announced that it has increased the feed speed of its entire line of CNC routers. All of their CNC routers are now capable of fully coordinated multi-axis positioning speeds of 2,100 inches per minute and accurate, fully coordinated cutting speed of 1,500 inches per minute.
The new speeds have become standard on their entire line at no increase in price. In addition, a "Turbo" option is available that further increases speed to 4,200 inches per minute positioning speed and 3,000 inches per minute cutting speed. This is almost six feet per second. The "Turbo" option is only available on axes that are ten foot or less in length.
In addition, Thermwood announced that it is reducing the base prices of its Model 40 and Model 42 CNC Routers. Prior to the price reductions, the Model 40 has been available under a "Special Offer" where a company was able to purchase one machine at a steep discount. It also offered the Model 42 under a "Market Test" discount to see the effect of lower prices.
