INSERT SYSTEMS
The Unisert II™ from Engineered Inserts & Systems, Inc. can be installed into both a standard industry tapered or straight hole in sizes under #10-32. Automation is made easier since orientation of the insert is no longer a determining factor of speed in production, Installation time and residual stress is reduced because of knurls and undercuts designed to accommodate the displaced material. Inventory will be greatly reduced as only one style is required for both hole configurations.
EIS offers special inserts for thermoset material as well as additional inserts for various thermoplastics and can design to your specifications.
