DURABLE GASKETS

E-A-R Specialty Composites offers a family of ultra fine-celled foams with characteristics that make them ideal for gasketing and sealing applications. ISOLOSS LS urethanes effectively resist compression set, offer high tensile and tear strength, and exhibit excellent environmental resistance properties.

The foams are manufactured in thicknesses ranging from .015-inch to .5-inch and in densities ranging from less than 10 pcf to more than 20 pcf. Standard color is charcoal; custom colors are available as well. Easily and cleanly die cut, the foams can be combined, online during production or afterward by adhesive lamination, with various facings, backings, films or scrims.

The urethane foams absorb mechanical energy and perform in a broad operating temperature range from -40°F to 194°F and can withstand intermittent exposure as high as 250°F.E-A-R manufactures a complete line of noise, vibration, shock and motion control products available from one source.
