LASER CUTTING
The new Jamieson LC2 Laser Center is affordable, fast and accurate. The LC2 has a fixed table and three axes lightweight gantry system. This allows a stationary workpiece that does not require clamping. The mass to be moved is therefore minimal allowing high accelerations and contouring speeds for cutting, drilling, welding and engraving operations.
No maintenance, sealed beam CO2 lasers are used, which are able to run over 10 years at 1 shift before requiring refilling. Machines are available from 100 to 500 watts of power to produce your parts most economically and they can handle a variety of materials.A Pentium based computer with digital signal processing and closed loop servo control is included to run and program the LC2. DXF, HPGL and G-code programs are acceptable, software for BMP and scanners are optional. All functions of the system, including laser operation, are controlled on the monitor in a Windows environment.
Available in a 4'x4' or a 5'x10' table with vacuum system and chiller, options include automatic material handling, autofocus, split beam optics, and additional axes.
