ACRYLIC SHEET

A new brochure highlights the unique edge-lit technology of Plexiglas ELIT acrylic sheet, a new product from Elf Atochem North America, Inc. This sheet finds use in point-of-purchase displays, illuminated signs, and light boxes. It is also ideal for designers in creating original applications, such as slim-lined transportation showcases and double-sided shop window displays, among others.

As explained in the brochure, light-box manufacturers can now conceal fluorescent tubes in the profile trim, rather than place them behind the sheet. The sheet's internal structure causes light from the sheet edges to diffuse evenly to both sheet faces.
