LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYMER

A new brochure from Ticona details the short-term properties of 35 glass-reinforced, mineral-filled and specialty grades of Vectra® Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP). These high-performance plastics meet demanding thermal, mechanical, chemical and other criteria in electrical/electronic, health care, industrial, consumer and chemical process applications.

The brochure lists the benefits when replacing metals, thermosets and other thermoplastics. It also contains a material selector to help define the right grade for a specific end use, as well as a table of physical, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties for each grade.
