SPE Thermoforming Conference
This year’s SPE Thermoforming Conference will be held September 20-22 at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will be both live and virtually (online). The theme of "Smart Manufacturing – Intelligently Forming the Future," will be a three-day event devoted to heavy gauge and thin gauge thermoforming.

Don’t miss this opportunity where we reconvene as an industry in person for the first time in over a year. Conference highlights include: a welcome reception, full-day Heavy and Thin-Gauge Thermoforming Workshops led by McConnell Company and Mark Strachan, over 15 Technical Sessions Addressing Sustainability, Automation, Productivity and more. There will be a student Radio-Controlled Car Race and Design Competition as well as a virtual plant tour of Styl’monde (Priay, France). And don’t miss the Thermoforming Awards Dinner on Tuesday, September 21.

All conference exhibitors have the option to set up their booth virtually, and virtual conference attendees will be able to visit and meet with exhibitors at no additional charge. Portions of the workshops and all of the educational sessions will also be broadcast online.

The Parts Competition, Student RC Car Race, Welcome Reception and Thermoforming Awards Dinner/Post-Dinner Networking Reception will be available to attendees in Grand Rapids. These events will not be broadcast online.

Workshops focusing on fundamentals and troubleshooting will help your technical staff gain practical insight into the thermoforming process. Full conference registration includes your choice of two full-day technical workshops (heavy gauge or thin gauge) and the Executive Forum. The Executive Forum session content is geared toward C-Suite level leaders and company owners.

Please note: only a portion of the workshops will be broadcast as part of the virtual (online) conference. To participate in an entire workshop, you must do so in Grand Rapids.
