AWFS® Fair Spotlight
King Plastic Corporation, a leading manufac¬turer of polymer sheets, slabs and massive shapes will exhibit at the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® AWFS®

The polymer sheet never needs painting or refinishing, works like wood and is easy to fabricate using common woodworking tools and techniques.
“Cabinet and furniture manufacturers can build an outdoor living space for customers that want a super tough material that lasts a lifetime,” said Michael Fabbri, National Sales Manager of King Plastic. “Our products work like wood and are easy to fabricate with common woodworking tools.”

LSAM Additive Printer
LSAM Additive Printers are fixed gantry, moving tables with table sizes of 5’x5’ and 5’x10’ and are capable of printing parts up to 4’ high. The 5’x10’ machines are available in two styles, 5’ wide with 10’ of front to back motion or 10’ wide with 5’ of front to back motion. Maximum table print weight is 1,000 pounds and the 10’ wide 5’ deep machine is available with a dual servo drive which doubles the weight carrying capability (2,000 pounds). It is
planned to equip the 5’ wide 10’ deep version with a Vertical Layer Printing option which will allow it to vertically print parts up to ten feet tall.
This new LSAM Additive Printer is intended to introduce LSAM additive technology to a whole new level of application and customer. It targets companies that want to print top quality, large composite thermoplastic parts, but don’t really need, nor can they cost-justify, the really large LSAM systems. These new systems also target companies who already have sufficient trimming capability and only need a quality print function. Applications include industrial fixtures, molds (including high temperature molds), tooling, foundry patterns, & hundreds, if not thousands of similar applications.

Large-Format CO2 Laser
Kern Lasers introduces their economical, large-format CO2 laser the EcoFlex. Available in 50 - 250 watts with work areas of 52” x 50” or 52” x 100”. This laser is a perfect economical solution to manufacturers of signs and P.O.P products.
Signs incorporating LED backlighting is found everywhere these days. The translucent acrylic can be placed on the front side of the LED lit panel, consisting of high-efficiency LED light strips which are snapped to the edge of the acrylic panels which effectively diffuse light across a dot or line pattern laser etched into the acrylic sheet. This creates a brightly lit panel with a consistent glow.
At Kern Laser they understand the relationship between lasers and acrylic, and they invite you to inquire about which laser system is right for your needs.
