Thermwood Corporation, a leading manufacturer of CNC routers and large-scale additive manufacturing printers, announced the promotions of Jim Bullis to the position of Vice President of Sales, Brendan Haas to an Account Manager position within the Machining Products Division, and Pete Riddle to Upgrade Service Specialist in the Retrofit Department. In their new roles, Bullis will oversee the sales and operations of the Machining Products Division. Haas will be responsible for sales and dealer relationships over his designated areas, which is approximately half of the U.S. And Riddle will be responsible for sales of upgrades, retrofits, refurbished machines and the Advanced Support Program.

The Alro Steel Board of Directors announced that Randy Glick has been elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board. An experienced leader, Glick started his career with Alro in 1981. He held various roles until 1993 when he became Corporate Operations Manager, and in 2004, Vice President-Operations. In 2013, he was named Senior Vice President. Since 2016, he has served in his current position of Executive Vice President.
“Following my Father, the founder of Alro and an icon in the metals industry, is not an easy task. I am proud to be elected as the new CEO of Alro Steel, and excited to carry on the duties of our family business and the legacy that he (Al Glick) started in 1948.” said Glick
Glick’s father, Al Glick, held the position of CEO and Chairman of Alro Steel for the past 74 years. He started the company with his brother Robert in 1948. Al passed away on February 2022, in Jackson, Michigan, at age 95. He will be greatly missed by the over 3,000 Alro teammates, their families, and the Jackson community.

Curbell Plastics, Inc. announced the promotion of two talented, long-time sales employees. Daniel Kane has been promoted to Business Manager III and is now responsible for Curbell Plastics Virginia and Pittsburgh locations. Shay Blinkiewicz has been promoted to Inside Sales Manager for Pittsburgh and will assist Kane by managing the Inside Sales team at that location.
