Straight Line Bending
Fabrication Tools and Materials, Inc. (FTM) is “The Fabricators Source®” for the 56000 series Complete Heating Systems for straight line bending thermal plastics. These new systems are available in three sizes, 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” for materials from .040”-.500” thick. New features include the QTC44 Advanced Touch Quad Control, designed with the features most requested by the fabricators who use them, like a Max Heat button, improved timer controls, a cooler running circuit board, and a Capacitive Touch Keypad. The new frame kit is a Unistrut Rail System with a larger 56″ x 48″ working area, quick release tray locks, material support with stops, integrated frame stops and a new leg kit.

The patent pending Unistrut Rail System uses a unique alignment plate that fits with the rails and allows the four heating trays and material support/stop to move easily, lock securely, and aids in squaring. The integrated frame stops allow more flexibility in an ergonomic design. The 14-gauge sheet metal legs are strong, ridged, and the perfect weight to keep the system in place, yet light enough the heating system can be easily moved.
