Industrial Vacuum
Petro Plastics
found
a solution for
slip and environmental
hazards often
generated by
residue left over from their grinders and saws. Resin, pellets
and scrap cuttings frequently wash into surrounding
waterways, so Lou Petrozziello, President of Petro Plastics,
looked for an effective yet inexpensive method to
solve the issue while keeping his factory clean, in a
timely fashion.
After investigating the situation within the plant,
Petrozziello discovered that “it was really just a constant
cleaning problem”. They needed a system that would
clean spills inside and outside of the plant, as well as
around the loading dock and dumpster area.
The ELGEE Power Vacuum was his answer. “It’s a vacuum
sweeper with enough power to suck up anything
we throw at it. Not only does it clean up nurdles, chips
and cuttings, we use it in our warehouse to vacuum
pieces of strapping and chunks of wood from pallets,”
said Petroziello. Employees simply walk the power vacuum
up and down the aisles or use the instant action
hose to vacuum inaccessible areas, in a fraction of the
time. The propane-powered model gives them the maximum
power needed, and versatility, to work inside and
outside of the plant, in a more effective manner.
