Pipe Fusion Machines
WEGENER Welding, LLC is well known for their range of high-quality sheet butt welding and bending machines, as well as hot air hand and extrusion welding equipment. But did you know Wegener also sells pipe fusion machines?

Wegener introduces the new Huerner WeldControl-LI 4-3-2 version pipe fusion machines.

Huerner’s standard WeldControl machines are designed for full manual operation or interactive assistance operation. These machines are offered for pipe diameters ranging 160-1600mm (6” to 63” respectively). The new WeldControl-LI versions are available for pipe diameters 75-355mm (3” to 12” respectively).

A unique benefit of the WeldControl-LI (lightweight) machine is the capability to remove some of the clamping components and the frame for easier use in overhead situations as well as welding tight radius fittings. When removing the 3rd & 4th clamps along with the frame, the clamping tools can become as light as 19kg (42 lbs).

All WeldControl machines by HÜRNER offer full traceability to ISO 12176 as well as conformance to all major codes and standards for pipe butt fusion machinery. The data input can be done using the RFID scanner or manually via soft touch keys on the control unit. Recording of up to 10,000 weld operations and data output via USB make compliance verification easy as ABC.

A rugged steel enclosure for the control and hydraulic unit prevent unexpected accidents from damaging the machine control system, thus offering versatility for jobsite use or workshop welding needs.

Wegener Welding offers a complete range of plastic welding equipment and services including hot gas hand welders, extrusion welders, sheet butt welders, bending machines, pipe butt, socket, and electrofusion machines, pipe band saws, as well as AC & DC spark testers. With training programs and an in-house technical support and service team in their Chicagoland facility, one call may resolve all your plastic welding equipment needs.
