ACQUISITION

Leitz Tooling Systems, Inc. announced the acquisition of Demp’s Saw & Tool. The new name is: Leitz Tooling Systems, Inc., Demp’s Division. Leitz will transfer their southeast headquarters from Statesville, NC to the Archdale, NC facility. The Statesville facility is officially closed.

Former owner and President Bill Johnson is the General Manager and will retain management duties of the Southeast from the Archdale facility. The merger will offer customers localized expertise, a greater coverage area for service.
