PRECISION PLASTICS SAW
Schelling has developed a precision saw
with special features that is specifically designed for cutting plastic sheet
material. The FLM precision saw cuts higher stacks of plastic sheets into cut
size parts that have a smooth finish and virtually no chipping. Machine cutting
accuracy is +/- .004 inch. This high level of cutting quality and accuracy
eliminates subsequent machining of cut-to-size parts which increases
productivity.
Special features include a flat guide way
system that is guaranteed not to wear, a frequency converter to regulate saw
spindle speed which helps eliminate burning and blade deflection, a solid steel
cutting table with an air bed, a dust protection curtain, a feeder carriage that
automatically clamps and positions heavy stacks of material, moveable front
loading air tables, a spray mist device that lubricates the blade, and new
"Space Cut" blade technology with patented tooth geometry.
