As we enter the fourth quarter of 2000, it is not only important to focus on our year-end goals; it's a good time to start thinking about next year. The earlier we set goals for our business, the better chance we'll have of being successful.
One thing that can help you run a more successful business is the International Plastics Fabricators Association (IPFA). The IPFA was founded to bring together a network of fabricators and suppliers for our unique industry. As fabricators, we can benefit from information and training in all aspects of our businesses, from fabrication techniques to how to better manage and promote ourselves. These are only a few of the advantages of membership. The IPFA also promotes our industry, creating a resource for buyers to find our special services.
The rapidly evolving business climate, robust economy and changing landscape of purchasing and sales brought about by the Internet mean that now, more than ever, we need to be smarter about how we do business in order to survive. The time is right for us to come together to strengthen our industry and our businesses.
The IPFA is a growing and evolving organization. As time goes on, its benefits will grow, resulting in stronger services for our members. Right now, the association is building an insurance program for its members, and is developing a network of business contacts who will help us run our businesses more efficiently and successfully.
But, ultimately the association can do nothing without your involvement. Become a member of the International Plastics Fabricators Association today by calling 630-980-4740 or see the association website at www.fabricators.org. The IPFA is also looking for members to get involved in helping shape the future of our association.
