SMALL DIAMETER SOLID CARBIDE CUTTERS

Safranek Enterprises introduced a line of small diameter screw-on carbide cutters, the "P Series", which can plunge cut, have greater chip clearance, and run cooler. They are single flute cam ground solid carbide and are available from 1/8" to 3/8" - the 3/8" even has a reverse helix down shear.

"Because of the grind and chip clearance these cutters run cooler," explains Safranek vice president Linda Wyant, "this allows for cutting plastics without welding."
