INCREASED POLYAMIDE PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Rhodia Engineering Plastics has announced a 20 percent increase in its European production capacity. The move represents a nearly $20 million investment to reinforce the company's polyamide 6 and 6.6 polymerization and compounding capacities at its sites in France, Italy, and Poland.

The expansion is part of their continuing drive for global business growth. The capacity increase will enable the company to continue supporting the strong growth in demand for its polymers across all market segments on a global basis. The move follows similar recent capacity investments in Korea and North America.
