Artek Expands UHMW-PE Extrusion Capacities
Artek, Incorporated, a manufacturer of extruded Duravar Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) has recently completed construction on their newest plant expansion in Fort Wayne, IN. According to Randy Kirkpatrick, Director of Marketing, the expansion project has added 20,000 square feet to their manufacturing facility enabling them to double their UHMW-PE extrusion and fabrication capacities.

The UHMW-PE Extrusion expansion increases Artek's capability to produce a full range of Duravar UHMW-PE Rod, Flat Stock, Half Sheet Plus, and Industrial Profiles in Virgin, Reprocessed, and Enhanced Grade Formulations to meet the growing requirements of their Valued Customers. Artek has also added Administrative and Sales Personnel to its team of customer oriented associates. Machelle Suchcicki and Rachel Doell have joined Tari Haijlich as part of Team Artek in assisting customers with their daily needs.
