Industrial Laminates

NVF Company manufactures PhenoliteŽ Industrial Plastic Composites in 30 standard and modified grades. Composed of various base materials and thermosetting resins, they are offered in sheet, rod and tube forms in natural and black. Paper base grades range from those intended for mechanical applications and those having superior electrical properties. High temperature grades for resistance to heat and flame use glass and asbestos fabrics. Other base materials, such as carbon graphite cloth, provide extreme toughness, resistance to corrosion and high impact strength.

Standard offerings include sheet in thickness' from .010" to 7" in six sizes, rods from 1/8" to 6" in diameter in lengths from 23" to 48", and tubes with i.d.'s from 1/8" to 16", wall thickness from .025" to 2" and lengths of 23", 39" and 48".

In addition to coating various substrates, NVF can also custom coat a variety of outside materials like Kevlar composites and Nomex. From fully cured materials to prepregs, their engineers will help design a material and resin system to meet your specific requirements.
