Create 2-D or 3-D Models
A new 3-D digitizer from Techno-Isel, the quick, easy and very affordable way to create 2-D or 3-D models by simply "touch tracing" the surface features of real physical objects. The 3-D digitizing process, referred to as "reverse engineering" is fast, accurate and easy. Applications include woodworking, engineering prototypes, industrial design, manufacturing design, scientific measurement and 3-D inspection.

3-D models are constructed using points, lines, polygons, splines or NURBS. The data can be exported in DXF, OBJ, TXT, IGES and other formats. The points collected by touch tracing can be entered directly into Mastercam, Rhino 3-D, AutoCad, SurfCam and other design software.

The unit's work envelope is a 50" sphere with an accuracy of .009". The sampling rate is up to 1,000 points/second. The digitizer includes the serial cable, power supply, twin standard foot pedal, digitizing software for the PC, and carrying case.
