NYTEF Group Plant Expansion

The Nytef Group announced a significant expansion in both capacity and manufacturing capability at their Transparent Protection Systems (TPS) division located in West Palm Beach, FL. The expansion includes an unspecified number of extrusion lines and downstream equipment for the express purpose of producing custom profile shapes, utilizing all types of thermoplastic materials.

According to The Nytef Group’s Vice President of Marketing, Craig Hampton, "We determined some time ago that a need existed for quality custom profiles, particularly in terms of responsive quoting, quick tooling and fast part delivery." Hampton continued, "Because of the existing channels of distribution in place with our Nytef Plastics division, we’re finding that this new capability is a natural extension of our distribution business - over 90% of profiles quoted and sold to date have resulted from inquiries received from Nytef distributors."

A key component of the TPS expansion is a comprehensive tool and die department featuring a leading-edge technology EDM wire machine for fabricating an extensive catalog of tooling. Additionally, high-powered CAD software programs are installed to further optimize lead times on quoting and tooling.
