R&R Drummond, Inc. announced the release of Version 7.0 of The ITEMIZER - Cutting Optimization Software. Key new features include grain control for individual items, roll optimization, improvements to the layout generators and enhancements to the cut lists and label printing.

Tthe highlight of this release is the Part bin/Layout rearrangement feature. The Part bin, which is a temporary holding place for pieces being cut, provides a means to rearrange, reorient and relocate pieces. You can turn pieces horizontally or vertically and move pieces within or between layouts. Smart Drag and Drop warns you if manually placed pieces don't fit in their new location.

Other features include: decimal or fractional entries, English or metric units, linear optimization, DXF export files, multiple layouts per page, a master sheet stock pick list, cost functions, custom label printing and more.
