PLASTICS DYNAMICS announced the promotion of Jan Coulter to territory sales for Michigan and Northern Ohio. Coulter has fourteen years experience selling sheet, rod and tubing and will be representing: DK Plastics for HDPE and PE; United Decorative Plastics for foil/plastic laminates; United Industries for plastic-faced, paper-faced and aluminum-faced Styrofoam board; Inteplast for corrugated polypropylene and PVC sheet; Weld-On adhesives and Edge Finisher Company.
Poly Hi Solidur, announced the promotion of Brandon Lisinicchia to Extrusion Department Manager – Scranton PA and Kevin Vincent to Product Manager – Industrial Sheet Products. Greg Lutz also joined as Financial & Consolidation Accountant.
Plastic & Paper Sales Inc. has hired Kent Jackson as Sales Manager. Also, Frank Catalfo was appointed Vice President & General Manager.
ATOFINA Petrochemicals, Inc. announced that Lee O’Shields has been elected Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Cast Nylons Limited announced the selection of Kurt Broll as Technical Sales Engineer. Broll will serve the Southeast states, as well as TX, OK, LA and AR.
Obituaries
Mary Yoder, Trade Show Manager for SCM GROUP USA, passed away recently. Ms. Yoder joined the company on July 2, 1984 as a receptionist and stayed on actively until her recent illness. She worked in all departments including Accounting, Customer Services, Administration and finally as Trade Show Manager. Ms. Yoder was a dependable and dedicated employee. She planned and executed all company social events over the years making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. SCM employees have fond memories and will surely remember her.
Craig Richardson, Co-Founder & Chairman of Richco Inc., passed way on October 3, 2002. Mr. Richardson and his brother Charles started Richco Plastic Co. in 1954. The company started in a small storefront in Chicago and has grown
into an international manufacturer with 17 facilities in North America, Europe and Mr. Richardson had a passion for work and enjoyed classic cars, golf and travelling with his wife. He is survived by his wife Samantha, six children and six grandchildren. Samantha Richardson, who has been active in the business, will assume the role of Chairman.
