Ain Plastics Expands Into Western PA

AIN Plastics has announced the next stage of their continuing nationwide growth program. AIN, a ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. company, is expanding into Western Pennsylvania by offering daily deliveries into the Pittsburgh area market. The sales and marketing efforts in Western Pennsylvania will be led by Shawn Lynam, recently hired into the position of Sales Manager for AIN Plastics, Pittsburgh. As in previous expansions, AIN will be working with sister company Copper and Brass Sales to provide next day deliveries and pick up for customers throughout the Western Pennsylvania area.
According to AIN President Mark McCord, AIN’s presence in the Pittsburgh region offers customers there a new choice to utilize a service-oriented plastics distributor right in their area.

AIN Plastics Partners With Sheffield Plastics in Sign Industry

McCord announced separately that the company has been named as a Sign Partner by Sheffield Plastics Inc. AIN is one of a limited number of distributors in North America to receive this prestigious partnership, which Sheffield only awards to those companies best suited to serve the sign industry. The partnership will be administered out of AIN’s Marietta, GA location, giving sign customers access to an even greater offering of Makrolon® polycarbonate reel and sheet stock as well as VIVAK HT® sheet. This expanded inventory complements the acrylic and other substrates that AIN has historically sold to the sign industry.
