Anti-skid Cushion For Equipment, Flooring
Poly Hi Solidur, Inc. introduced Armor-X™ – the newest addition to its diverse product portfolio. This unique polymeric composite material resists oils, cutting fluids and most chemicals; exhibits excellent impact and wear resistance and has an anti-skid surface.

According to Ron Denoo, Product and Development Manager, the material does double duty when it comes to damage prevention. “Armor-X™ has a non-marring surface that provides an anti-skid cushion between expensive, heavy metal equipment and either wood pallets or con-crete flooring,” Denoo explained. “The advantages are that the pallets or flooring won’t scratch or dent the equipment and the equipment won’t splinter the wood or chip the flooring. And the higher friction surface of this polymer means the equipment won’t slide around once it is placed on Armor-X™.” Denoo added that Armor-X™ is available with either a smooth or dimpled surface and has also been used successfully in such applications as table coverings where a non-skid work area is necessary.

Armor-X™ without the dimpled surface is available in 4’ x 8’, 4’ x 10’ and 5’ x 10’ sheets with thicknesses ranging from 1/4” to 1 1/2”.

Armor-X™ w/ProKnob™ is available in 4’ x 8’ sheets with thicknesses ranging from 3/8” to 1 1/2” and in 4’ x 10’ sheets with thicknesses ranging from 5/8” to 1”.
