Spin Welder
Plastic Assembly Systems will introduce the SW750
Spin Welder to its “Solutions Series” Line of equipment
at the Assembly Technology Expo this September.
The machine is the first two-axis servo-controlled
machine released to the assembly market to date, this
machine takes the process of spin welding to a new and
unexplored level of speed and accuracy offering many
advantages over conventional equipment.
The SW750 was designed to make operator usage fast
and easy. Multiple job storage and no mechanical
machine adjustments make the SW750 a snap to setup
and modify parameters. All machine functions are adjusted
through one location. The slim line package reduces overall automated system
size. The SW750 has the ability
to be mounted on any axis
and is easily integrated into
existing systems. PAS has
also revolutionized part drive
head design by eliminating
the need for the operators to
load parts into the upper tool,
reducing overall cycle time.
The SW750 was designed to
weld difficult-to-weld materials
and parts with complicated
welding joints easily. The
system has true closed loop
controls with dual Servo
drives and absolute positioning. Multiple job storage
through the operator interface allows for fast and easy
tooling change over. Come view the machine in action at
the Assembly Technology Expo September 23-25 at
booth 28097.
